Radio Africa Network helps to establish locally owned and operated radio stations run by Christians in Africa. RAN works in with the local church and media organizations, combining efforts to reach specific communities through FM radio and new media. Organising and facilitating media training opportunities is another important aspect of RAN’s work.
Additionally, RAN functions as part of the secretariat for AbR Media – a network of associated, equal partners that recognizes the work of existing local, regional, and international media bodies working in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Radio Help Desk is hosted by RAN and manned by the AbR Media Secretariat team. This Help Desk provides technical support for Christian stations in Africa via WhatsApp and e-mail.
